I got bitten by DIY bug at my not-so-young age 
, especially that is related with RasPi, Arduino, PC, and works well with my other hobby of audiophile, computer-games and photography stuff. Saw Sonos at my boss’ house some time ago, but it is out of my budget, so RasPi with i2s DAC and Volumio is a perfect solution. I live in Hong Kong, so getting all the electronic component and gadget is very easy from the electronic factory city, Shenzhen, across the border, I am blessed in that sense… 
Volumio is working very nicely, a little bit rough on the edges, but I am sure it will develop into a mature product with the help of great community. Cheers…
