For some reason, I cannot access volumio 2 from my web browser (ie/firefox/chrome) by typing in volumio. (notice the period at the end). All of my linux based devices (tablet/phone) CAN access without the period at the end.
This is an improvement over requiring mDNSresponder in volumio 1.55 and using volumio.local but with the old version, I was able to make it accessible on windows computer by changing dns proxy to True in samba config, this does not work with volumio 2 RC1
Any suggestions? nslookup can find volumio but ping cannot. It seems to have something to do with NetBIOS superuser.com/questions/495759/w … works-fine
