Howdy gang!
I’ve been in the midwest for 5 years now and been in the little town of Jamestown, ND for 2 years. I’m a musician and an avid music fan. I got a Raspberry Pi B+ and HiFiBerry Digi+ to work as a DIY, hi-res music server for my home. I’ve got a decent little system here (Emotiva, B&W and such) and was looking for an easy way to have my favorite hi-res files available without logging in to a computer each time.
This is going to be an ongoing project but the first step is to get the system running the way I want to. Then I’ll likely employee child labor (I have nieces and nephews who are always begging to do work around my house) to start archiving my CD collection into lossless format.
Other than that, I’ve got my recording studio in my basement, a lifted Jeep Grand Cherokee that makes sure I get to work every day, and plenty of time off for little projects around the house.
