''Go To Album" with Compilation Albums dont work

I have multiple albums tagged with album-artist ‘Various’.
When I play a song from such album, click on the 3 dots in the play menu (with the artwork) and select ‘go to album’ i get no results. If i do the same with a non-various album it works as expected.

Is this a ‘bug’ or by design or am i doing something wrong?
I’m on the most recent Raspberry version of Volumio

Looks like next thing is happening:

When Album Artist is filled in the metatag and differs from the artist tag.
Goto Album or Goto Artist don’t work. It says no results.
