FusionDsp : the complete Dsp center for Volumio3!

I’m using Volumio 3 with FusionDsp v0.1.18.
My DAC is a Violectric V850. Whenever I activate the plugin I cannot play any sound over the USB DAC. No matter what I select (graphical eq, parametric eq,…).

Here is my log: https://easyupload.io/z790mn

Even strange is that after activating the music library don’t list anything. I must reboot. Then the music library works but still no sound over the USB DAC.

Hello.
Please send your log link using Sending logs for troubleshooting - Volumio Documentation
Thanks

I sent it 8 hours ago via this link.
Volumio3 is perfect for me but I really need the PEQ. I gave up after 4 hours of testing no chance to get it worked.
Would be great if you can help me with analyzing of the log. Thanks!

Why zip? Just copy paste the link generated here for next time.
Btw, you are facing an very problematic issue on x86_amd64 where mod via volumio hangs when FusionDsp is enabled. It’s because your library seems empty… We are working on it.
Have you any chance to test with Spotify connect? It should work.

I have no Spotify. Web Radio also not work plays nothing when plugin is enabled.
Okay then you know what’s the issue is great.
Hope you can fix it.

Where can I found Infos for the x86_amd64 issue?
Do you know when this will be fixed?

Hello again,

first i will say thanks for your work,
it feels that the stable version is getting near.

One more question,
will it be possible to insert 3 fields for the parametic eq?
So it will be easylier to change a Single value (only db etc.).
If not, it‘s not bad,
it would be only a little bit more comfortable .

At the moment, I have a text file with all of the entries which can be copied and pasted back into FusionDSP every time I upgrade (e.g. 41,-2.95,0.661 ). Creating three times as many fields would make that a much longer process. I agree that three fields would be easier to read and edit but there is a downside too.

I’m thinking of a way to export/import eq settings. It would be an improvment of the feature 'import local file".
Can you share your file?

@balbuze My file is just a TXT document which I use for copying/pasting. Everything is ‘peaking’ unless otherwise indicated.

41,-2.95,0.661
50,-2.95,0.921 ← low shelf
78,-0.21,2.476

211,-2.73,2.594

I just managed to update from FusionDSP 0.1.16 to 0.1.18 without losing settings. Progress! :+1:t2:

added by moderator: Ok, but do you see the new delay mode, ‘speaker distance’ ?

@balbuze For some reason your message was not a separate post but an edit of my post. I just added the text “added by moderator”

To answer your question, no I don’t see that new feature.

weird…
So you don’t see new features because of cache issue in volumio. You are using un sort of unstable mix of FusionDsp version…
Edit :A patch for Volumio is waiting for some test

I have a strange issue with Fusion on RPi4 Volumio 3.179. It works perfectly with local and NAS sources but on Qobuz the tracks stop playing a few seconds before the end and then stops (the next track in the list does not play)
Is this a known issue? I can reinstall and generate logs if it helps.

Hello. Unfortunately it is a known issue… With no fix yet.
You can send your log link though, after a reboot and reproduce the issue.
No need to reinstall.
Thanks

Great work with this plugin.
I’m using it with HDMI output. Is there any possibility to enable multiple channel output and several convolution filters ? (same like in Camilla DSP in Moode audio)
I’d like to use it in 2.1 system and use separate filter for subwoofer.

Hello,
FusionDsp is oriented stereo…
Sorry, but no plan for multichannel.
Maybe one day…

Hello! Happy new year!
A new version with a (dirty) fix for :
Qobuz stop playing
No sound on Thinkerboard-Primo
No sound on x86_64
This is a temporary workaround…
v0.1.19
Let me know  :upside_down_face:

Works now great! Thanks.

I tested more and have small dropouts at irregular intervals in sound.
