FusionDsp : the complete Dsp center for Volumio3!

Yeah

Would be great weekend when it comes today.

It costs nothing to dream :joy:

I want you to have a nice weekend :blush:. But without the update…
We are sorry but there is some more complicated things than expected :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
So, it remains a dream

No Problem maybe next weekend. :blush:
But thanks for your effort!
Wish all a nice weekend!

Hi to everybody,

will this thread be only for the Fusion Beta Programm itself, or is someone intresting in „how to“ here?
Or.will there be a new thread on the stable Version (when it comes), to discussion about DSP🤷‍♂️.
Or is this the wrong Forum to talk about?

As an example,
at the moment i try to measure with Windows and REW about TuneBlade to Volumio (for the Testsignal).

hello!
Good suggestion. I’m going to create a new thread ‘How-to FusionDsp’ :wink:

It remains a dream this weekend?

I think so

I don’t dare to confirm…
Sorry :pensive:

But, new version (without the fix)
Version 0.1.26
Fix

  • Loudness was not applied after save if no volume change
  • Variable samplerate with conv filter

New

  • CamillaDsp gui! For advanced user only. You can manage more than two channels…In this mode, you are on your own … And I provide no support for CamillaDsp GUI…

Warning : installation may take several minutes due to new libraries and python3 required
Please test and feeback :wink:

I installed the new version (0.1.26) but it was unusable for me, unfortunately. Dropouts were happening 1-3 times per second.

For me much better than previous version, hardly any dropouts :+1:

New version is without the fix for dropouts.

hi!
If your main use is local files, or spotify, spotify connect or Tidal, you can try the following to avoid dropout ONLY on RPI

  • edit:
/data/plugins/audio_interface/fusiondsp/asound/volumioDsp.postDsp.10.conf
  • then change
pcm.volumioDsp {
  type plug
  slave.pcm "volumioDspww"
}
  • to
pcm.volumioDsp {
  type plug
  slave.pcm "volumioDspfx"
}
  • disable the plugin, renable it.
    It should be ok, but mpd hang with Qobuz or webradio
    This only for RPI, on x86 or Thinkerboard it will result with no sound with all mpd play

Version 0.1.27
Fix

Pure CamillDsp GUi settings were not saved
Peaking Range-> bandwidth

Still no dropout fix :upside_down_face:

I see under settings a section “purecamillagui” but there is no button or something else to open a gui? Or is it not available for x86?

It is. But maybe you need to remove previous version, reboot and install the new.
And don’t forget to apply when selected

Yes you see it every time,
but to use it you have to select Camilladsp in the first dropdown menue and press apply

gave it a try anyway… a lot less dropouts(!) even though the fix hasn’t been implemented yet
