Does it make sense to upgrade the underlying raspbian?

Hi,
after running sudo apt-get update, I noticed that there are 492 upgradable packages for raspbian.

Does it make sense to upgrade all those packages? Is there any benefit, or could it break functionality?

Yes you can upgrade it, there are bugs that the upgraded fixes like audio drop issue. I had updated it and I don’t find anything breaks.
