Make sure that you pay close attention to where the HDMI and USB connector resides. As you need additional space in your enclosure.
And wait for Waveshares feedback and if they don’t provide the driver, ask if they will swap the display.
Yes… It is tight and this is the reason why I choose current one with DSI tape instead HDMI/USB sockets on top… Ehhh…

Hi; i bought a display 8.8” on aliexpress, i try to run it with pi4, but i didnt do it. What is my wrong?
Note: pi4 works with AOC 24” monitor without problem and Display works on pc without problem

your width and height are the same in your userconfig.txt
in the last 2 lines. max buffer height should be 480

ı downloaded userconfig txt on 2sn post and it is already like this. Do i need to changelast line with 480?
yes your height is max 480 and not 1920
1920 is the width of your screen
and don’t see any settings in the seconde post here.
i would advice you to contact the seller for the settings.

you could try this :

hdmi_force_mode=1

if you have the last line in your userconfig mark it with a # so it will not run.
and do that for the hdmi_timings to instead use the hdmi_cvt line.
