I have volumio up and running. Everything works great with my RPi 2 and Hifiberry Dac. Now I want to add a display to my radio. I have removed the old dials and am left with an area that will be perfect to mount my new 7" Raspberry Pi Touch Screen. I really would like the background to look like the old dials with information from volumio displayed over the top (such as name of track playing, artist, etc). I would also like to add touchscreen buttons to play, pause, skip, and maybe even volume. I have a RPi3 and the 7" touchscreen, i’m just not sure how to interface it and create a interface that would allow me to do what I just described. If anyone has any ideas or can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
