I’m liking the integration of support for the RPi 7" touchscreen into Volumio. Makes for a nice living/fam room music player. For bedroom use, I need to be able to dim or disable the display. Is there a way to set a timer to do so in either GUI or editing a config file or running a command via ssh? [Plan B is toss a black cloth over it.] Running 2.041 on a Pi3 with HiFiBerry DAC+ and the RPi Foundation’s 7" touchscreen.
Thank you! Just tried it, works like a champ. There are some things I will want to experiment to tweak the behavior, but this mod does what I need the display to do when idle.
