Currently I am trying to connect Volumio (RPi 4) to my FritzNAS-Server. The FritzBox offers an USB3-Stick using its built-in NAS-Server. I created a user with rights for accessing the NAS-function. Windows and macOS are able to connect to the NAS.
But, connecting them does not work. I attached my config.
Can someone tell me how to solve this? Even adding „SanDisk-UltraFit-01“ to the path does not work, which is the path displayed in Windows.

Mir fehlt das /Music… aber bei mir liegt nichts unter Musik, sondern direkt im Wurzelberzeichnis…
Kannst Du bitte einen Screenshot von den genaueren Settings posten? Das würde helfen…
Bitteschön, aber sieht im Prinzip auch nicht anders aus als bei dir, bis auf das Unterverzeichnis halt.
Ich verstehe es einfach nicht… warum verbindet sich Volumio nicht mit dem Fritz-Nas.
Vielleicht ist es ein Problem, dass meine FritzBox kein SMB1 mehr unterstützt, sondern SMB3?
It is expected that posts on the Volumio forums are conducted in English. You may well get more support if you would stick to this convention.
I would suggest on the basis of the first post that you add IP address in the form “192.x.x.x”
I tried adding 192.168.x.x instead of FRITZ-NAS, but Volumio always changes it back to FRITZ-NAS. Frustrating.
Does Volumio not support SMB3?
Solution was to configure the FritzBox offering fall back support for SMBv1.
I deactivated SMBv1 later, so FritzBox could offer pure SMBv3. Then I told Volumio to speak to SMBv3 using “vers=3.0”-option. Now it is working. Wondering why no one was telling us this.
