CD Ripping - Cannot see any cd drive interface

Volumio Version: 2.853
Hardware: RPi
DAC: Allo BOSS

Good morning, all!

I have two volumios set up now, and just got an external cd-drive connected to my system. I have a Superstar account, and I am logged in to it, but I cannot see where to play or rip CDs.

I restarted my volumio, just to make sure, but no dice.

I am using this cd drive.

any ideas? Thanks!

just put an Audio-CD into it, then it will show up.

oh! i did that… i forgot to mention that…

so, it looks like the drive i got was defective. new one coming in tomorrow .

New device arrived, and worked as advertised when i connected it. perfect.
