So I downloaded the latest image (VERSION: 3.324), flashed it to sd-card and started up my raspberry3.
It’s starting up - I can ping the system, I can see the login prompt on the screen.
But I can’t login user/password “volumio” don’t seem to work.
And I can’t connect to the webserver: entering the ip (192.168.1.129 in my case) in firefox gives me an “unable to connect”. Oh, and looking for the device with the volumio app also does not work (of course!)
So, what am I missing here?

Are you sure you sd is properly flashed ?
As it is booting up I would have guessed so. How could I check?
I would like to know how and with what your flashing your device.
Maybe we could advice other or better ways.
Is the a flash from 2.xx version to a 3.xx version?
Please give us some info to work with.
On Linux did it with “dd” …
Oke skip dd and flash it on a pc with win32diskimager try that.
Ok, by “PC” you mean something running on Windows?

it’s a windows program win32diskimager runs on windows and if that doesn’t work,
we got still balena etcher but win32diskimager should do the trick.

“dd”, when used properly, is the best option there is.
But never forget to do a “sync” before ejecting the sd card.

I never used dd for my images but that is a good tip for him
Ok, have written the image to sdcard again - and again with “dd” - but this time I didn’t forget “sync”
And - hurray - it works now!
