Cannot connect to Volumio

Hello
I have an Audio359 Raspberry Pi B+ with HifiBerry DAC+.
It has been performing well.
However, I kept losing wifi connection; most likely macbook air os x. So upgraded my router ( tplink c3150 ) to see if beam forming would assist.
Now I cannot see volumio; neither wirelessly or via ethernet.
I have connected via ethernet and can play music; but wireless is totally dead.
New router 2.4ghz is the same name and password as before.

Any advice?

These 2 sentences are a bit confusing: does Volumio work on ethernet or not?

Can you try with a brand new image?
