Can Volumio retain queue position after reboot?

Volumio Version: 2.834
Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4
DAC: HifiBerry DAC +

I have “persistent queue” enabled. I reboot this Pi after every use to maintain the integrity of the micro SC card. When I start up the the queue position is always the first song in the queue rather than the last song played. Is there a way to control this? It’s a default in most music player software and PMPs.

I’m currently reinstalling due to what I think was SD card corruption after OTA update. I’ll give the plugin a try although I hope it gives you the option of disabling auto-play. All I want is persistence of the queue position. It seems weird that Volumio doesn’t have base version support for something that’s a standard feature of most music player software and PMPs.
