Can RPi use Coax S/PDIF out?

I wana use my dac with raspberry pi.

with usb ,it’s ok,sounds good.

But can’t use the coax S/PDIF to my dac,no sound but time still running, and Analog Jack has no sound too.

Can’t it use?

What kind of spdif output board do you have? The Pi doesn’t have a spdif output built in.

If you don’t own a spdif ouput board take a look at the HifiBerry digi at hifiberry.com/hbdigi.

well, I thought the video out RCA can be used as coax S/PDIF.
