Cambridge Audio DacMagic hardware volume issue

I wonder if any of you guys have managed to make DacMagic’s hardware volume control work on Volumio. I know for sure there is a hardware volume control embedded within this DAC, as I can access it through other software. What would be a best way of approaching this issue if I want to solve it? I have no clue what part of source code / drivers might be related to that.

And for whatever it is worth, here is the content of my /proc/asound/C2/usbmixer

Hi!

Any news? I can’t get volume control working with DacMagic 100 either, even though it’s supposed to work (e.g. on the Rpify compatibility list, there’s a “YES” in the HardMix column).

Hope someone figures this out!
