What am I doing wrong?
When I click the “Albums” menu item, I was hoping to get a list with just one entry in the list for each unique album.
Doesn’t that seem logical for a list labeled as “Albums”?
But instead I see all tracks for every album?

that’s strange, works as expected here.
That said, I had similarly strange changes in system behavior, while toying around with brutefir plugin on my RaspberryPi4 with official 7" display set to portrait mode and several additional modifications in system files.
As it was the ultimate fix with my problems, I recommend to completely reinstall Volumio from scratch, and re-implement all modifications thereafter - did it more than once…
