I am runing volumio on a Raspberry Pi B, I attached a 16x2 LCD display to show the title an artist. I would like to control the backlight that it is active during play and pause, but off during stop at night. I setup the display as described by AndyPi, I am able to turn the backlight on or off, but I don’t know how to control it from volumio. Has anybody the same setup and an idea how to realize this behaviour? I would also like to switch to another text during stop since the last played title stays on the display.
