Audio Popping with Tidal

Volumio Version: 2.907
Hardware: Raspberry Pi Model B Plus Rev 1.2
DAC: InnoMaker Raspberry Pi HiFi DAC HAT PCM5122

I get popping here and there with Tidal tracks. Is this Pi just too old, perhaps?

Otherwise are there package updates to run safely?
