Audio CD no longer shows up when a CD is inserted

I am running version 2.873 on Raspberry PI 3, and am having an issue with the CD Ripper.

in the past (any time before today), if I inserted a CD into the player, I would get a new entry in the navigation reading “Audio CD” where I could rip CDs to FLAC.

Today, it stopped inserting the entry into the navigation menu.

The odd thing is that if I go into the NanoSound CD menu, the CD’s content shows up, and I can play the CD. It looks like I would have to purchase the full package to rip a cd using NanoSound.

Any ideas?
