In comparison with other DACs I’ve tried now, the IQ-Audio sounds phenominally good. It’s a pity though that my ears still start ringing listening to it. Maybe it is a combination of factors (Power/Amp/Burn-In/Listening Volume/Hearing-damage etc). Other DACs have had similar effects on my ears.

You’re welcome. Since the Pi-DAC sounds the best thus far, I am experimenting with powering the Pi. I am even considering using a variable external power supply with low ripple. I got rid of the USB HUBs for starters (only need one usb port).
