"Artists" not seeing additional albums added to artists directory on USB stick

Hi All,

I have recently installed a new larger USB memory sticks into my systems to include more albums.
Having added new artists and additional albums to the directories of existing artists, I find that the new artists and albums appear in the “Artists” browser with no problems, but not the additional albums added to previously existing artists directories.
If I go via “Music Library”, then I can see the additional albums for existing artists and can select albums or tracks and play them or add to playlists.

I have tried updating and rescanning under “My Music” several times, but cannot get the additional albums to appear.
Presumably the data must be stored on the Raspberry somewhere and is not updating?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Another way to update is to navigate from Music Library level down to the Artist/Band folder, and click the three dots to the right, then choose Update Folder.
Make sure the tags are consistent with the rest of that Artist/Band and have the Album name correct.
