Analog for audio and HDMI for video?

Is it possible to output audio from my raspberry pi with HifiBerry DAC2 Pro using analog RCA outputs and display the volumio screen to my television via HDMI?

most of the small displays people use with Pi are hdmi so I would assume that should not be a issue

Yes sure, that’s the usual way

If you get a black border around the image you should disable overscan.
edit /boot/userconfig.txt to add this line

disable_overscan=1

and reboot
