ALSA underrun occurred

I’m getting occassional split second dropouts when playing through Spotify connect. I get this in the log:

ALSA lib pcm.c:8424:(snd_pcm_recover) underrun occurred

It works fine when streaming from my NAS, so far only getting it with Spotify. Running a Rpi v1.4, with a hardwired connection. Using a I2C DAC.

Is there a ALSA setting I can change to increase the buffer for Spotify Connect?

Do you run cava or some other type of plug in?

What device is this?

No cava.

Running touch display plugin, now playing plugin and gpio buttons.

Rpi4 Rev 1.4, 4gb ram with volumio 3.196
