Yes we also look forward to it, but the primary requirement is that it’s stable enough, so we just wait for that to happen (on the shairport-sync side)

I’d rather Volumio stick with Airplay 1 and Shairport -sync and have my music play lossless audio rather than lossy 256 AAC with Airplay 2. Understandably, there are budget systems and high end systems and where one sits on that spectrum the view point will differ on the best Air Play for them.
