Hi when I add new albums and press update nothing happens. It seems I have to press rescan everytime, which takes hours. Is this a bug?
Have you checked that the albums have not been added already? There is an option in mpd.conf (/etc/mpd.conf) to enable auto update of the database. If this is set to “yes” then mpd will automatically add new albums that are added to the library.
